ANTIQUE BURMESE SERIES

VG001-003_MRK_edited.jpg

These simple vases have a truly special heritage and history.

The Antique Burmese Series were handmade in the now-defunct Nagar Glass Factory in Yangon in the mid-1990s. The factory was destroyed by a typhoon in 2008. The vases were brought in by Synergraphic for the Singapore market through Synergraphic's retail shop at Park Mall in the late 1990s. Synergraphic got to know the wonderful people at the glass factory during mission trip visits there.

Its green and white colors are distinctive of the factory and era in which it was made. Every piece handmade, no one piece is the same. With less than 30 pieces in stock, saved through the decades, these items are antique and extremely limited.
